Our popular Quiz takes place every Thursday night at 9pm. Pit your wits against the other teams and a chance to win our Odd Ball Jackpot for every participant. Only £1 per person. Max team sizes of 6 people please. All proceeds go to Devon Air Ambulance / Dartmoor Rescue
Ball in the Hall – Saturday 2nd December
This year’s Ball in the Hall is on Saturday 2nd December.
With live music from Sammie Avis and Bloom, a full buffet style dinner, free raffle and more, we hope that this years event will be better than ever. As always, the event is in aid of a charity, which this year will be chosen on the night.
Tickets are £30 and are available at the pub.
Why not get a group of friends together a book a complete table (up to 12) for what is always a highly entertaining evening.
Guest Chef 2023 – Saturday November 25th
Our next (and final) Guest Chef night in this year’s competition is on Saturday 25th November.
What is Guest Chef Night?
Each year we run a competition whereby one of our regulars/locals comes up with a 3 course menu and then prepares it with the help of our kitchen staff. The overall meal is then scored by you, the customer, out of 10. The cost of the meal is normally around the £20 mark. We normally have about 6/7 of these events throughout the year. The winner is announced at our January party the following year. We do not always publicise the menu in advance as sometimes we are already fully booked before we get a chance to!
